My schedule has been so hectic due to work and finals so I haven't been able to post. Here's a little OOTD video shot in DTSD while visiting Nathan's sister Rachel. I'll try to post more but for now, let's just hope I make it through the week without my brains exploding!

How amazing are my new Forever 21 Tropical Print pants? For only $17 I thought these were such a great find. Only if there was a top with the same print cause I'm really diggin' the whole print on print trend right now! It was quite windy in L.A. so I wore my shaggy cropped cardigan and topped the ensemble off with a floppy hat. It was such a comfortable outfit to go shopping in. Nathan and I went to Third Street Promenade to do a little shopping and to meet up with my cousins from Manila. It was my first time there and I absolutely LOOOOVED the area. They had this Converse shop where they could custom print your shoes and shirts, Brandy Melville, Bird Pick who serves the BEST lavender milk tea and a whole lot of other stores that I enjoyed browsing in. While wandering around L.A. I couldn't help but think how lucky I am to be living here .. There's honestly no where else I'd rather be than California <3
It's always a great day when these two are a part of it!

I'm not a morning person but I had such a terrible headache last night
that I slept earlier than I usually do and woke up early in the morning.
It felt wonderful having so much time to do EVERYTHING I wanted to do. I
woke up, ate breakfast, got ready, took my mother to work, met up with
the girls Twin & Mate, ran three miles, had lunch, got
ready for work, went to work, had dinner, hung out with Nate, did some
homework, read articles and magazines and now I'm here updating the
blog. That headache was a blessing in disguise because normally I start my days at 11am and sleep at odd hours like 4am or so.... I guess I can blame it on the fact I was born & raised in Manila where everything was open 24/7 and my whole family didn't sleep till 2am every night. I'll also blame it on the fact I went to a private school and took classes that started 12pm everyday. No wonder I was always late for school when I started studying in California. Excuses aside, I'm definitely going to try and
keep waking up in the morning a habit. It's time to get more productive. How will I ever take over the world with a sleeping pattern of an owl?

As I mentioned before, I got hired at Charming Charlie's as a Charmer. I didn't really express how happy I was that I got the job but I'm sooo stoked! The job really couldn't be more perfect because now I get paid what I enjoy doing, merchandising. The company also requires employees to only wear black and white which, lucky for me, was basically 80 percent of my closet! The past week has really been too kind to me. I missed 2 days of class due to doctor appointments and found out my classes were cancelled BOTH times. Seriously, How lucky am I ? When you're a college student like I am, you should know how awesome that feels!
On St. Patrick's Day my family and Nathan went to the South Coast Winery to have brunch. I wore my PB & J dress with a thrifted black and white box top and synched it with my mirror belt. I always love wearing belts because my waist isn't tiny so belts give it that illusion that I have some curves! And to prevent from being pinched, I OF COURSE wore my little green hat! Brunching outdoors was PERFECT! the weather was lovely and so was the view. We had such a great time taking photos, playing with my nephew and socializing with all the people that were obviously zonked! The four Caucasian ladies in the photos were a couple of the people we met. They asked me take their photos with their camera phone so I offered to take some with our camera to email it to them since it was clearer. They were so sweet and adorable! Anyways, how was your St. Pattys? Hope it was as lovely as mine!
